Many times we say that Colour speaks, Colours resonates, makes an affect on mood, somewhere makes us flirty or naughty, warm or charming. Colour plays an important role in all types of design, in various types of communities.

Different colors can have a profound effect on mood and reflect the state of the human mind. We don't fully realize it, but the colors conduct a vital significance in sending a message to the audience. For the design it is the best used little, choosing other colors like white and silver combined with red or you can use the color red to emphasize the most important elements of the design.

There are a couple of ways we can use color theory to combine different colors

for designs.

1. Analogous Color Palette: 

Analogous colors help create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing design

We can choose this color combination from the color wheel, then choose another color next to it, and create a design using those colors.

2. Complementary Color Palettes: For this combination, choose a color and then a contrasting color at the opposite end of the wheel, such as red and green.

3. Split Colors: On this color scheme, we choose one color and then select two other colors, colors that are next to the opposite color. Such as Purple Orange Green

4. Monochromatic Colours: They’re very modern and very much in vogue.

Monochromatic designs look beautiful on modern smartphone screens. We mix a single colour with various amounts of white or black to create unique tones and shades that stand out from one another.These colour palettes are excellent for modern digital design.

The colors are, also, very essential elements for web designers. You can design a website that is pleasing to the eyes, but color matters not just for its appearance, but also for its ability to communicate the right message to the targeted audience.

 Whenever we choose the design of our website it is important to note that we use the colors because they can have a great impact and influence our site visitors. 

Since colors have a different effect on each person, we should choose our colors carefully. Each color has a meaning, and color psychology relates to its meaning.

Additionally, selecting the right color is one of the greatest challenges for web designers. Website colors may trigger psychological responses in visitors. Every color has its own symbolic meaning. 

Yr. 2002- The Color Theory developed by Fabien Ninoles, In this theory the goals of system design are thought of as the primary colors of TV light – 

"Green for simplicity, Blue for realism, Red for consistency, with notions like adaptability, tenacity, brightness, and visibility being extensions of the metaphor. Red is the color of high-energy and vibrations, but blue implies peace and calmness".

According to the website standpoint, the use of colors should be decided. For example, a website that sells children’s toys must use bright and vivid colors, on the other hand, a website of a law firm should use decent colors in design.

Few days ago, I read an interesting article about Colour Theory stated about the different colours and their attributes. I want to share with you my knowledge.

1. Black and White

Black is a color associated with elegance, formality, strength, and mystery, which is popular on all websites.The target sample is about cleanliness, purity, newness, virginity, peace, innocence and simplicity. Most of the time, we use two colors in our designs, one for the base and another for the fonts.

2.Red

The color red is considered the most vibrant and dynamic color. It elicits strong emotions and is therefore commonly associated with love, passion, and even anger.

The color can convey feelings of sexuality, strength, courage, determination, enthusiasm, comfort and warmth, simultaneously. Also used as a warning tool.

3. Orange

The orange color represents the spirit of comfort, creativity, celebration, fun, youth, and affordability.It is vibrant and energetic and has a welcoming atmosphere. Red is such a powerful color, we can use it with orange to promote food and snacks at sites that transmit energy. Orange is also a great color to catch the attention of a young audience.

4. Yellow

Yellow is the brightest color and brightens anything it touches. It represents curiosity, joy, fun, comfort, liveliness, intelligence, happiness, and energy. It is a beautiful color, and makes us eager to see more of it. It is ideal for all businesses who want to reach young audiences by giving a positive impression of joy, happiness and friendship. 

To convey a vintage touch, it is recommended to use dark shades of yellow.

5. Green

Green symbolizes health, healing, money, life, harmony, durability, reliability, safety, honesty, optimism, and freshness. It's commonly used for stress relief and has a calming effect that will certainly lead to a feeling of relaxation. Green is also thought to make you more open to learning new things. We can use it to show the harmony and balance of the website. Dark tones can show stability.

6. Blue

The color blue symbolizes trustworthiness, success, seriousness, calmness, power, professionalism, depth, stability, loyalty, reliability, honor and confidence. It gives a cool, calm effect. Lighter shades can be used on websites indicating friendship.Dark tones are more suitable for business design as they express stability, trust, and serenity. It is no surprise that Facebook and Twitter are blue.

7. Lilac or purple

The color purple is a symbol of royalty, justice, uncertainty, luxury, fantasy, dreams, beauty, nobility, mystery, royalty, elegance and magic. We can use lighter and softer shades on sites associated with spring and romance. Dark colors are often used in designs that convey wealth and luxury.

8. Pink

Pink represents softness, sweetness, purity, youth, tenderness and femininity. Usually associated with women, but not always. Pink is associated with chewing gum and other sweets. If you use the theme for web design it can be applied to any website that wishes to make an impact soothing, gentle, cheerful and sweet to their visitors.

9. Gray Color

The gray color is associated with conservatism, traditionalism, intelligence, reliability, neutrality and indifference. Usually used as background to emphasize some elements on the site. Sometimes it is used subtly, while other times it is used throughout the entire website, making it look monochromatic.

10. Brown

The brown color is soothing, relaxing, safe, casual and reassuring. It is associated with nature, and some tribal and primitive things. When used in the design, it can be relaxed. The color brown can be used in different shades, such as gray, as a background color or for certain regions of our website.
